Who we are
A passion for language & education
Founded in 2010 by seasoned TEFL teachers from the USA and Spain, TEFL Madrid Academy set out to meet Spain's growing need for skilled English educators. With over a decade teaching in Madrid, our founders built a hub that cultivates top-tier TEFL professionals and supports aspiring teachers aiming for the global classroom.
Guided by integrity and a commitment to doing what's right, TEFL Madrid Academy has grown into one of Spain's premier destinations for TEFL and TESOL certification. Our philosophy is simple: empower students through exceptional teaching, so their success becomes ours. Our content meets the strict benchmarks of the world's leading TEFL accrediting bodies — so graduates are ready to teach in schools and language institutes worldwide.
Our curriculum, built by experienced trainers, gives you a complete toolkit for a real career in English teaching — including a 20-hour teaching practicum for hands-on classroom experience. Founded by former TEFL teachers, including American expats, to meet Madrid's demand for qualified English teachers — combining practical methods with cultural immersion.

Your TEFL course is taught by trainers holding MA and PhD degrees in TESOL, Linguistics and English — led in Madrid by Jordan Campbell, our TEFL Instructor. Alongside them, a specialist exam faculty covers TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, SAT, GRE and GMAT, and a dedicated support team handles admissions and student care.

What should you look for in a TEFL school in Spain?
